CrossFit Summerside will be hosting a free trial class this Saturday March 3rd at 10am. Anyone interested in CrossFit is encouraged to attend. Wear athletic clothing and bring a water bottle because we will be doing a workout!
The noon hour class today is cancelled due to weather. Hopefully the snow and wind will die down later in the day so that the evening class will go ahead.
CrossFit Games Open WOD 12.1
As many burpees as possible in 7 minutes!
You can keep track of where you are in the standings by checking out the leaderboard on the CrossFit Games site. Next weeks workout will be released Wednesday at 9pm!
So the 2012 CrossFit Games Open has officially started! Anyone that has registered will be doing the WOD at Saturday morning’s class. If you cannot make it to Saturday’s class it is up to you to arrange another time to do it. Remember each workout has to be judged in order to count and must be submitted before Sunday evening. It is not too late to sign up, you can still register up until the close of this first workout on Sunday.
The first workout is a 7 minute AMRAP of Burpees. That’s right, all you have to do is burpees for 7 minutes. Below is the standards video with all the information that you need to know. Any other questions can be answered on Saturday. Let the Games begin!
