The next Fundamentals course starts April 2nd. This fundamentals course includes (12) sessions, class size is limited to 8 people and will teach students the elements required for Crossfit.

These 12 X 60 minute sessions will cover the fundamental movements of CrossFit. You’ll learn proper technique on the foundational movements that build the base for our workouts. Also students will learn how to scale movements appropriately to your own individual skill level, and then start ramping up your fitness with a CrossFit workout at the end of each class. Fundamentals classes start once a month, and run Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. The sessions are structured to allow you to get in the groove of the regular classes as soon as possible.

Athlete safety is our top priority. In order to ensure high levels of efficacy in your workout, we require all of our prospective members complete the fundamental program. The fundamentals program is designed to give the member an overview of CrossFit terminology, foundational movements, and to try some Crossfit workouts. Upon completion of the Fundamentals’ session, you will be able to join regularly scheduled classes.

April Fundamentals will be Monday 8PM, Wednesday 8PM and Saturday at 4PM. In addition, Fundamentals students may drop into Open Gym times on Thursday to review their new skills.

Bring a Friend Week – Update

The first Crossfit Summerside “Bring a Friend” week was a great success – we had many new faces in the box over the past week. Thanks to all our members for being so friendly and encouraging to everyone.

If any visitors are interested in joining Crossfit, we have a fundamentals program starting Feb 3rd. Fundamentals consists of 12 sessions and is limited to a maximum of 8 students. During the sessions, students will learn how to perform Crossfit movements safely and effectively.
